Some of the top young players in high school football frequently watch the Ohio State Buckeyes play. And it will have the opportunity to impress someone who appears to have already made up his mind. According to Eleven Warriors, David Sanders Jr. will be on campus for Ohio State’s top-five matchup against the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday. Sanders Jr. has already committed to Tennessee, so this would be an excellent opportunity to flip a top prospect. Sanders Jr., a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, is the class’s top offensive tackle as well as the best player in his home state. 247Sports ranks him as the fifth-best player in the nation.
Sanders Jr. had originally planned to visit Ohio State on June 21, a week following his visit to Tennessee. Sanders Jr. was recruited by Justin Frey and toured Ohio State, Georgia, Tennessee, Clemson, South Carolina, and Nebraska before signing with the Volunteers on August 17, 2024. Having already received many commitments from the Class of 2025, this may be a major opportunity for the Buckeyes to impress another top-10 prospect.
